Relocation budgeting
How much does your relocation project really cost? A useful estimate starts with a clear assignment, an inventory and a feasible scenario.
VM360° brings together cost items, assumptions and uncertainties. This provides you with a substantiated basis for freeing up a budget, comparing quotes and assessing changes.
First focus the command
What moves, between which locations and when? Who packages, disassembles or reconnects? We record included benefits and exclusions. Missing data remains recognisable as an assumption or item yet to be confirmed.
A tailor-made overview
We determine together which costs belong to the moving budget and which costs fall under a different project budget.
Inventory, relocation study, project coordination, communication and moving instructions.
Personnel, transport, packaging materials, labelling, disassembly and assembly according to the agreed scope.
ICT support, specialised equipment and interventions by suppliers, estimated separately where necessary.
Temporary storage, intermediate movements and facilities required during a phased transition.
Reuse, donations, disposal, cleaning and agreements regarding the handover of the abandoned location.
Support during start-up, agreed aftercare and follow-up of outstanding items.
Weighing scenarios
A move in one go requires different resources than a transition per department. Evening work, temporary storage, extra movements or limited access can influence the estimate.
We compare scenarios on costs and consequences for your operation. We also make visible which amounts have been confirmed and which amounts still require investigation or a quote.
Connect budget with planning →Coordination with care teams, phased commissioning and specialised suppliers are included in the cost delineation.
Equipment handling, disconnection, reinstallation and any validations are delineated and estimated with the specialists involved.
We discuss an appropriate reserve based on specific risks. There is no standard percentage for every project.
Quality of the implementing partner
When comparing quotes, we also check whether the employees deployed are sufficiently trained and have experience with the planned work. We ask which relevant diplomas, licenses, attestations or certificates are available and whether they match the tasks and conditions of your location.
Consider VCA where requested, safety instructions and experience with the risks of your environment. We distinguish employee qualifications from any company certification.
For example, for a forklift truck or ladder lift, we look at the demonstrable training, experience and any required certificates of the operator, tailored to the equipment used and the assignment.
We make visible which qualified employees and specialised partners are provided. Required training, instruction or extra effort is discussed in advance, including any impact on the budget.
The supporting documents required depend on the work, equipment and location conditions. The implementing partner remains responsible for the appropriate deployment of its employees.
What do you receive?
We tailor the elaboration to the project phase and the agreed assignment. Each update makes clear what information the estimate is based on.
Consciously assess changes
An additional department, additional archive or changed moving date can affect personnel, equipment and planning. We map out the impact and present it to the agreed decision maker.
After approval, scope, planning and cost overview are updated. This makes it visible why the budget is changing.
Yes, based on available data. We identify the assumptions and uncertainties and refine the estimate as volumes, timing and performance become clearer.
No. VM360° helps structure and assess the total moving budget. Executive partners offer their own performance. Their quotes are compared with the agreed assignment.
We agree on how internal efforts, additional project costs and VAT are shown in the overview. This makes it clear which amounts are comparable and what is or is not included in the total.
Yes. We compare scope, volumes, timing and included performance, but also the employees provided, their relevant training and experience and appropriate certificates, such as VCA or training for forklift and ladder lift operation. Uncertainties and differences are made visible before you decide.
We look at what inventory and project information is available. On this basis we determine the necessary analysis and agree on the scope of the assignment.
From assumptions to insight
We look at what information is already available and what is needed for a substantiated estimate.
